TEAM-sponsored Brandy Floyd graces the cover of Whiteout Magazine!
It’s no secret that the sport of women’s snowmobiling is climbing steadily in popularity, with mainstream-media women’s snowmobiling films hitting the market in recent years. Of course, as the sport grows, “stars” are bound to appear, and TEAM Aftermarket is proud to sponsor several, including a particular miss Brandy Floyd, who you may recognize from last year’s SledBetties film and this year’s Flirting With Danger film from Octane Productions.
Now, the snowmobile star finds herself gracing the cover of another emerging source in the snowmobile industry: Whiteout Magazine. Floyd’s feature story graces a two-page spread in the most recent issue, which can be read in full at the following link: (be sure to check out pages 12 & 13 for Brandy’s story) http://www.server-jbmultimedia.net/WhiteoutMagazine/sitebase/index.aspx?adgroupid=200646&view=double&fh=735
Brandy graciously gave TEAM Aftermarket a few minutes of her time recently to give us an update on how this year is progressing so far:
“I am so excited about the direction the women’s snowmobile scene is headed! We have several gear manufacturers making female specific gear, tons of casual gear to choose from and now we have many of the aftermarket companies asking for our help in getting more ladies involved in the sport. As a rider, this has been an amazing fall, the response from the industry has me blushing. As a Co-Producer of Flirting With Danger I’m so proud of the industry wide praises we have received for a job well done. We heard so many times over the course of the fall snow show circuit “I’m inspired to go push myself much harder this winter” from other women riders. THAT is exciting! THAT was what we set out to do, inspire women.
Now heading into the winter and knowing that I have to step it up this year to I am getting those little butterflies of excitement! I plan on working on my air miles with the new 2012 PRO-RMK. I have some amazing sponsors this year to help me get to my next level, SUPER STOKED. And of course we’ll be filming for Octane Productions again. Going to be a great winter! “
